Scotland's Rocking John "Hendo" Henderson has made a big name for himself in the world of darts as one of the most recognisable and dangerous players on the circuit. His "Big Bad John" walk-on disguises his reputation as one of darts' gentle giants, and nicest guys. Renowned for power 180 scoring, John hit a record x13 180s in a 5 set match at the Lakeside. His huge frame and perfectly timed swaying motion have captivated thousands of darts fans and rocked many opponents down the years. Fellow Scot Gary Anderson and Dave Chisnall were dispatched on his way to winning the 2008 British Open, whilst the likes of Colin "Jaws" Lloyd and Justin Pipe have also fallen in consecutive PDC TV "Majors". The veteran Scottish international preceded these with a magnificent 9-dart leg in a Players Championship in February 2011. A passionate member of Red Dragon, Hendo loved designing his first ever bespoke darts, where he tweaked and fiddled until they were perfect. John said "I've used a parallel style barrel for my whole career, so I've stayed with this profile but I wanted some major grip and flight improvements that the boys at Red Dragon have done for me". We hope Hendo's Highland weapons bring you the success he's had with them as he continues his excellent progress in his fledgling PDC career.
